PADI ENRICHED AIR (NITROX) DIVER

PADI’s most popular specialty for maximum bottom time. Diving with enriched air (Nitrox) allows you to enjoy longer dives and shorter surface intervals by breathing less nitrogen. At our center, this is conducted as a specialized technical workshop (“dry course”), meaning no dives are required to earn your international certification. The focus is on mastering safety protocols and procedures that are a prerequisite for using Nitrox anywhere in the world.

Prerequisite: PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent).

Course content:

  • Technical Workshop: Hands-on use of oxygen analyzers and proper tank labeling.
  • Dive Planning: Configuring and programming dive computers for EANx blends up to 40% oxygen.
  • Safety Protocols: Managing oxygen exposure and calculating Maximum Operating Depth (MOD).
1 day (2-3 hours workshop at the base)

MSDT Mentorship: Expert training under the supervision of a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer
Equipment & Logistics: Use of analyzers and technical equipment at the center
PADI Nitrox Certification: Internationally recognized license
