Boat Diver

Master the specifics of diving from a boat. While most dives are boat-based, this course teaches you the details that distinguish a disorganized diver from a pro. You will learn boat terminology, safe entry and exit techniques, and how to conduct yourself on various types of dive boats, from RIBs to larger motor vessels.

Prerequisite: PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent).

Course content:

• 2 open water dives utilizing boat logistics.
• Familiarization with boat terminology and onboard safety equipment.
• Water entry techniques (giant stride, seated entry) and returning to the boat.
• Properly stowing and securing gear during transit.
